Annual Reports: Yes, it is that time of year again. If you are responsible for a report for our Annual Report, please make plans to have it in to the office no later than Monday, May 15. (Email Zoë if you'd like a copy of last year's report to work from.)

Car Trunk Sale: Hurray! The second Trinity United Church Trunk Sale was fun and a tiny bit damp this past Saturday, April 22. Thank you to all 13 trunk vendors that organized their sales and made the day a fun time, socializing with good community spirit. Being part of the City Wide Garage Sale brought in a continuous stream of shoppers. Having our Trinity Thrift Store open was a big bonus for all. Thank you to the thrift volunteers that helped make this happen on top of their usual Wednesday sales day. The trunk space rental monies has been directed to Syrian Refugee Support. Other donations from the sales during the event are being collected. Please label the donations “Trunk Sale” and they will be directed to Syrian Refugee Support.
 
Thrift Number this week: We have two totals this week! Saturday's (we were open during the Trunk Sale) was $399.25 and Wednesday's was $540.55. What a great week!
 
Hymn Sing: Next Sunday, May 7 is Hymn Sing Sunday. Harvey Loucks will be leading us.

POCO Garden Club Plant Sale: Sat, May 6, 9 am to Noon here at Trinity! Don’t miss the PoCo Garden Club’s annual plant sale (cash only). All plants are healthy, hardy, and locally grown in members’ gardens. From herbs and edibles to annuals, perennials and shrubs, you’ll get the best deals in town. Organic Master Gardeners will be on hand to provide free gardening advice. There will also be a bake sale, a raffle, and a garden-themed yard sale, plus 50% off Club membership when you spend $10 or more. We donate 50% of the proceeds of the plant sale to the University of the Fraser Valley Horticultural Program.

Harmony Vocal Ensemble Concert: Sun, May 28, 2:30 pm here at Trinity! Spring Reboot - join there lovely singers for a nostalgic look at our lives during and after the pandemic, with a lot of memories and maybe even a “HAIR”-raising experience or two! Ticket available from the office, $20.
 
PMRC AGM: Registration is now open for the 5th Annual General Meeting of the Pacific Mountain Regional Council, June 1 - 4, 2023. CLICK HERE. Keynote speaker will be The Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis, who comes to us with a desire to use her gifts to help create an antiracist, just, gun violence free, fully welcoming, and gender-affirming society. We're excited to see what Jacqui has to teach us as we gather in June!
