Trinity United Church in Port Coquitlam is celebrating becoming an Affirming Ministry!

In the United Church of Canada, an Affirming Ministry is an organization that has discerned, educated, prayed, and served to affirm 2S and LGBTQIA+ people. Trinity has completed its (long) process and has been granted the Affirming designation by Affirm United/S'affirmer Ensemble, the national Affirming body.

Affirming Ministry Vision: Our Vision is to become a safe community where no one feels alone, and everyone feels at home.

Trinity United Church - Port Coquitlam welcomes all people in the full spectrum of gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnic identity, age, ability, and social class. We are committed to being a safe community and we celebrate the gifts that diversity brings. All are invited to fully participate in the worship and work of our community.

Please join us to celebrate on Oct 4, 2026, at 10:30 am. After our celebratory worship service, we will be blessing our new Rainbow Picnic Table on the front lawn.
