Port Coquitlam Food Bank Open On Wednesdays
Thanks to SHARE Family & Community Services, the Port Coquitlam Food Bank operates from the Fellowship Hall at Trinity United Church. This Food Depot opened its doors here in April 2003.
The Food Bank is made possible by the joint efforts of people from the church and the community. Trinity provides a location and volunteers. A soup kitchen – operated by St. Catherines Anglican Church – is available on the second and third Wednesday of each month.
Hours of Operation: The Food Bank is open on Wednesdays from 12:00-2 pm. Port Coquitlam residents may pick up a hamper here every second week.
To Register: Port Coquitlam residents who are not registered with the Food Bank, but are feeling the need to access this service can register at the PoCo Depot during Food Bank hours. When registering please bring three pieces of ID (for all members of the household): proof of your address; income information; and a Care Card, passport, or Driver's License.
For Coquitlam & Port Moody Residents:
Two other Food Bank Depots are in operation in the Tri-Cities area. They are at Como Lake United Church in Coquitlam, and the SHARE Food Bank at 2404 St. Johns Street in Port Moody. Their hours are Wednesdays from 12:00 to 2 pm.
Trinity also participates in the Extreme Weather Mat program during winter months. For further information, use the link provided. |
