Interested in a good discussion over dinner?
... and we'll even do the dishes!

Tuesdays have become a tradition at Trinity. Anyone is welcome to attend just to see what it is all about. Please call the office (604) 942-0022 or (604) 942-9812 to let us know if you have any food allergies. Childcare by arrangement - please call the office.

What dates?
Next session begins on Tuesday, September 21st, 2010. Programs are led by Trinity's Rev. Brian Burke, together with Rev. Paul Strudwick, of St. Catherine's Anglican Church... a great example of ecumenical action.

What time?
At 6:00 pm a simple meal is served: hearty soup and bread. Just come - no registration necessary.

What's the program?
Living the Questions is a DVD and web-based introduction to progressive Christianity. The series features 30 of today's leading religious voices such as Borg, Crossan and Spong.

What happens?
Guests are arranged at tables for the meal. Conversation over dinner is encouraged - but nothing too heavy! After the meal and a short "comfort break", guests watch a video together. Then participants have a conversation - sometimes in small groups; sometimes in larger groups. The program is usually over between 8:00 or 8:30 pm. Along the way there is enjoyable conversation and even a bit of laughter.

What does it cost?
The program and meal are provided at no charge to guests. Members of Trinity and St. Catherine's Churchs are invited to donate a nominal amount toward the meal (if they feel they are able).

Who can participate?
Anyone! Some people come because they want to investigate Christianity. Some are complete newcomers to church. Others are looking to brush up on the basics. Seniors often come to share their faith with others.

There is always room at our table for you! Please let us know you are coming so we can prepare your place.

Where do I Register?
Well... technically... no registration is necessary. However it does help to know approximately how many people might come. You can call the office at Trinity United 604 942-0022 or St. Catherine's 604 942-9812 and leave your name, phone number or email, and tell us you wish to attend. We'll be sure to save you a seat.
